In this class, we will examine the different ‘masks’ we wear and talk about why we think we’ve created them. As we apply our masks to face the world, the real person within can become hidden. By exploring ourselves in a creative and therapeutic way, we can explore our feelings and identify strengths within. If we can be truly accepting of who we are, then we can grow in authenticity and confidence. And with that, have a positive impact in our mental health and wellbeing.
In this class we will:
- Acknowledge the different masks we wear and understand why we feel the need to do so.
- Express what our masks look like in a creative format.
- Improve awareness of ourselves and building tools to “grow through what we go through”.
