Are you passionate about making a difference in the world? Do you think about the impact climate change is having on our planet and want to do something about it?
The way in which we grow, distribute, consume and waste food is having a devastating impact on our environment. Over one third of global greenhouse gas emissions come from the food system. At a local level there is a lot we can do to address this.
In the first half of the workshop you’ll learn about what a sustainable food and farming food system looks like. This is followed by an interactive session brainstorming various actions you can do to create change in your schools and communities.
