Is telling someone what you want sometimes hard to do? Setting good personal boundaries is essential to creating healthy, caring relationships, increasing self-esteem and reducing stress and anxiety. Strong boundaries set the basic guidelines of how you want to be treated.

In this workshop, we will learn how to set boundaries, both physical and emotional. Boundaries are needed in all relationships and friendships. Sometimes it is hard to know what a boundaries it and it can be scary telling the other person what you need.

Today we will learn to identify what is important to us and how we can communicate this to others so that we have long lasting, happy, healthy relationships where we feel acknowledged and cared for. We will look at what makes a relationship healthy and how to identify when a relationship may be unhealthy and what you can do to change this. Relationships are a part of all our lives and learning how to set boundaries as a young person will give you valuable skills for the rest of your life.
