Amanda Rootsey is the founder of Shine From Within and, important to note here, a former international model. She has worked for the biggest fashion brands in the world and has gotten a glimpse into the fashion marketing world.
It was while on a job in Italy for Salvatore Ferragamo, showing yet another fur coat, that she realised what she was contributing to. Once her eyes were opened to the cruelty and social injustices that occur in fashion, she became Australia’s first ‘eco-model,’ only working for ethical, vegan and sustainable brands. She’s on the Australian board of Fashion Revolution and is a passionate advocate for sustainable fashion.
